Acceptable Use Policy

Fensta is designed exclusively for legitimate campus activities, including:

• Publishing and registering for academic workshops, fests, hackathons, and sports events.
• Managing authorized student clubs, societies, and department organizations.
• Scanning event entry tickets and recording verified attendance check-ins.
• Issuing and receiving genuine digital participation and achievement certificates.

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on Fensta:

• Fraudulent Verification: Impersonating another person, submitting false verification material, or creating accounts to evade access controls.
• Hate & Harassment: Posting event descriptions, banners, or volunteer feedback containing hate speech, harassment, political propaganda, or explicit content.
• Unauthorized Monetization: Selling event tickets without institutional approval or misrepresenting event ticket prices.
• System Abuse: Attempting SQL injection, bot registrations, scraping student lists, or manipulating event view counters.

• Tickets generated on Fensta are non-transferable unless permitted by the host.
• Volunteers and scanners must not record attendance they know to be inaccurate or share QR tokens to create false check-ins.

Fensta may, where appropriate and subject to applicable arrangements, take actions such as:

• Restrict, remove, or unpublish content that appears to violate these rules.
• Suspend or limit platform roles or access while a concern is reviewed.
• Notify the relevant organizer or institution when that is appropriate to the event or agreement.
